中国国际文艺家协会广东联络处自2009年4月24日由时任协会常务副主席、国务院扶贫领导小组副组长、国务院扶贫办主任、原国家农业部副部长刘坚（现任国务院参事）宣布挂牌成立，2010年经协会主席团批准升格为广东分会，开展深港澳文艺研究、交流、传播工作。[1]

2012年9月参与深圳市狮子会深圳湾服务队河源敬老院献爱心活动。

2013年4月26日，组织举办“心系雅安 情系灾民”大型赈灾慈善拍卖会，将所有所得善款全部捐献雅安灾区。
