（1）办理住宿登记

警：您好，这里是大良派出所，有什么事吗？

P: Hello. This is DALIANG Police Station. What can I do for you?

外：我是一名英国工程师，现住在大良一位中国朋友家中，我听说需要到贵所申报住宿登记，对吗？ F: I’m a British engineer. I am now living at a friend’s home in DALIANG I was told that I should report to your post for accommodation registration , is that right?

警：是的，按规定你应在抵达后24小时内申报登记。请出示你的护照。

P: Yes, according to the regulation, you should report for registration within 24 hours of your arrival. Please present your passport.

外：这是我的护照。

F: Here you are.

警：请问留宿人的身份证、户口簿带来了吗？

P: Have you brought the host’s ID card and residence booklet?

外：我今天没带来，明天交来行吗？

F: I haven’t brought it today. Could I hand it in tomorrow?

警：可以。请等一下，我要先把你的姓名、国籍及护照号码记下来。

P: Ok. Just a minute, I want to write down your name, nationality and passport number first.

外：好吧。

问：请问你有否到当地公安机关办理临时住宿登记，请出示住宿登记表？

英：Have you ever reported your registration to the local police station. If you did ,show me the registration form.

（3）申请签证

外：您好！

F：Hello.

P: Hello. What can I do for you?

外：我来中国是经商的，现在签证快到期了，我想申请延期，请问，怎么办？

F: I’m a business man ,my visa almost expire and I want to extend it ,how can I do it ?. 警：欢迎你来中国，您应该携带你的护照、外国人临时住宿登记表、与你合作公司的申请函及公司的营业执照到顺德公安分局出入境管理科办理。

P: Welcome to China. You should prepare your passport, registration form of temporary residence for foreigner, the application letter from your cooperating company , the license of the company and go to the SHUNDE immigration office for processing it.

外：你有顺德公安分局出入境管理大队的电话和地址吗。

F: Do you have the address and the telephone number of the SHUNDE immigration office?. 警：它位于顺德行政服务中心东座，电话号码为22835252。

F: It locates in the east building of the public service center of SHUNDE and the telephone number is 22835252.

外：我还需要提交其它资料吗？

F：Any other documents for the visa?

警：您还应该填写申请表，交一张近期大一寸半身正面免冠照片及相片回执。

P: You also need to fill in a visa application form , submit one recently-taken,one-inch-more ,half-length, bareheaded, full-faced photo and the receipt of China visa photograph.

P: Please tell us about the incident that just happened.

外：今天晚上10点多钟，我和朋友一起在凤山东路上散步，迎面走过来一个中国小伙子，他乘我不备，夺过我的手提包就跑。我一边追一边喊：“抓住他！”，可没有追上。只好来这里向你们报案。

F: At about 10:00 o’clock in the evening, I was having a walk with my friend on Fengshan east Road. A young Chinese fellow walked right up to us. I wasn’t paying any attention to him. He snatched my handbag and then ran off. I shouted: “Stop him!” while running after him, but I failed to catch up with him. So I had to come here to report the case.

警：那个小伙子长得什么样？

P: What did the young fellow look like?

外：因为天比较黑，我没看清。他身高有1.8米左右，是个瘦高个。

F: I didn’t get a clear look at him, because it was too dark.He is about 1.8m, a tall and thin man.

警：你被抢的包什么样？

P: What does your bag look like?

外：是个手提包，黑色的。

F: It’s a hand-bag, a black one.

警：里面有什么东西？

P: What was in the bag?

外：有我的护照，一些零钱，还有化妆品。

F: My passport, some change and cosmetics.

警：有多少钱？

P: How much money was there in the handbag?

外：大约有100多元人民币。

F: About one hundred Yuan (RMB).

警：您还有什么补充吗？

P: Anything else you want to add?

外：没有。

F: Nothing.
