一.概念：冠词是一个虚词,它置于名词之前,限定名词的意义.

二.分类：冠词可分为不定冠词，定冠词和零冠词三类.

（a，an）表示泛指，用于单数可数名词前。

man 1. 表示“一”这个数量，相当于“one”。

e.g: This is book. I want to buy coat.

2. 表示“每一”的概念，相当于“every”。

e.g: I go home once week.= I go home once every week.

3. 指某个人某个物，但并不具体指明人或物。

e.g: 注意：a/an用法区别：

a后接以辅音音素开头的单词, 后接以元音音素开头的单词，如：. 请区别：

（the）表示特指，可用于可数名词前，也可用于不可数名次前。表示名词所指同类人或物中的特定的一个，有“这个，那个”的意思。 the hospital near my home the boy under the tree the rice

1. 再次提到上文提到过的人或物。

Tom has an apple, The apple is big and red.

2. 专有名词前。长城颐和园

3. 世界上独一无二的事物。

goes around4. 用在表示“姓氏”的复数名次前，或表示一家人、一类人。斯密斯一家年轻人

5. 用于序数词、形容词最高级或某些乐器前。

on floor 在第二层 playHe is one in our class.

6.指谈话双方都知道的人或物。

Let’s go and give it to the teacher.咱们去把它交给老师吧。

7.用于某些固定词组中，或英语习惯搭配中。

in the morning / afternoon / evening

in the box ,behind the chair

go to 但go to school, go to church.

(即不用冠词)

1.不可数名词和可数名词复数表示泛指时不用冠词。

I don’t like hamburgers.

2. 国名，人名前通常不用定冠词。

China ; This is Mary.

3.在季节、节日、月份、星期、年份等表示时间的名词前不用冠词。

in winter on Women’s day on Monday

in 2013 但in the winter of 2013

4.一日三餐和球类运动名词前不用冠词。

have breakfast play basketball

5. 当by 与交通工具连用时，中间无冠词;

by bus by train by car by bike by plane by air

注：若用介词on表示乘坐交通工具，则得用a或an来表示。如： ○

on a bike in a bus

6. 名词前有物主代词、指示代词、不定代词、名词所有格修饰时，不用冠词。 this pen that girl my mother Betty’s book
