Notices to the Captain of Cruise

Dear Captain:

Welcome to China. The Chinese Immigration Inspection Authority will provide the applicable facilitation to your good ship as convenient as possible. We are pleased to introduce the following contents of instruments in order to guarantee that we can provide an efficient Immigration Inspection with the well protection and security of your vessel or people onboard for your kind attention.

1. All passengers and crewmembers must fully comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.

2. To facilitate the necessary immigration clearance for passengers or crewmembers, please refer to the following requirements.

2.1 A pre-declaration from the vessel is required 48 hours prior to the arrival of port (alternatively, right after the departure at the last clearance port if the navigational time is less than 48 hours). The said pre-declaration is including the estimated time of arrival, berthing

schedule and location, completed and accurate manifest of passengers or crewmembers onboard (including name in full, gender, date of birth, nationality, number of travel document which is applied for the entry and exit clearance, and the designated serial numbers of passengers or crewmembers on the manifests).

2.2 Vessel is advised to prepare the electronic identity cards (EIC) with accurate data (such as, name in full, recent photo and number of travel document) for each passenger and crewmember onboard. Please be ensured that the data shown on EIC is totally consistent with the manifests which is submitted to the Immigration Inspection Authority. 2.3 Vessel is advised to pre-verify the travel documents of your passengers and crewmembers onboard (including visa / endorsement). Please also make copy of the respective travel documents of your passengers (data page which is containing identity information).

2.4 Passengers and crewmembers onboard should be pre-notified of the clearance formalities, manner, assemble due time and well organized for the Immigration Inspection.

2.5 Vessel is required to facilitate and provide the sufficient working and living conditions / areas, onboard supervision for the Immigration Inspection Officers. In addition, the designated personnel of vessel will represent and work with the Immigration Inspection Officers during the whole Clearance.

3. Passengers who will not land at China are permitted and exempted from the Immigration Inspection on arrival or departure. However, the vessel must take all the necessary precautionary measures to ensure that the said passengers cannot land at China.

Immigration Arrival and Departure Card (A&D Card) will be also exempted for the foreign passengers who are transiting at our port by your good vessel. Newly embarking or disembarking passengers is still required to complete their own A&D Card for the clearance.

4. Crewmembers who will land at China are required to carrying own travel document and \Inspection Authority during shore leave (if necessary). If crewmember of foreign nationals who would like to visit somewhere else outside of this port or city, he/she must apply for visa from the local public security department beforehand and go though immigration clearance.

5. Any visitor from shore or any vessel would like to visit onboard or berth alongside with your vessel, both of them must obtain the necessary permission from the immigration inspection authority in advance. 6. Vessel is informed to heighten the management response during your visit at the Chinese Port/s particularly verification of identity should be strictly implemented. Please instantly report to the Immigration

Inspection Authority if you see or realize any illegal activities or abnormalities.
