DASAN Networks has launched V5848G GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) OLT system designed to deliver fully featured high-performance FTTx services. V5848G is a middle class chassis system that accommodates 16 GPON ports or 48 GbE ports, providing simultaneous services of GPON and Ethernet.

V5848G is designed for maximum flexibility and scalability with which users can select service interfaces with all GPON, GbE, or mixture of GPON and GbE according to their networking needs. It enables network managers to build adaptable networks with minimum costs and convenient management features.

V5812G is a compact GPON OLT system with 4 GPON ports and 8 uplink ports (optical or electrical GE) to provide economic FTTx services to the areas of low population or small size subscribers.

V5812G meets carrier requirements for flexibility and reliability. It supports the module type power (AC/DC) and combo type Gigabit uplink ports to be applied in a variety of circumstances. Reliable operations and services are guaranteed through power redundancy to prevent the system from shutting down during power failure.

V5724G is a Layer 3 multi-platform and shelf-based GE-PON OLT system which can be fully customized. It is a front access system with the interface modular units of 12 slots providing two ports of Gigabit Ethernet (SFP, Gigabit copper) and two GE-PON ports of OLT interface for more flexibility. Two ports of electrical or optical Gigabit interface units can be used as uplink interfaces.

V5724G GE-PON OLT system is a robust solution that extends the bandwidth potential of fiber from the network core to the subscriber premises. Service providers now have an unprecedented opportunity to deliver Triple Play Service (voice, video, and data) with the compliant GE-PON solution.

V2524G is a single-board Gigabit Ethernet L2 switch with 20 optical 100/1000Base-X SFP ports. With four electrical/optical combo GE ports on the front panel, you can select four service interfaces of either copper or SFP ports that suit for your network architecture. V2524G provides two mounting slots for the optional uplink modular units. For the uplink interface units, it supports 1000Base-X (SFP or GBIC), 1000Base-T, 100Base-FX, GE-PON, and G-PON of one port modular type unit. Each uplink module can be inserted into two front slots. The MGMT and console interface is also located on the front panel with embedded LED for LNK/ACT and TX/RX indication respectively for equipment management via remote access or CLI.

V2524G can be used for various application scenarios as not only L2 GE switch but also G-PON/GEPON L2 Gigabit Optical Network Unit (ONU). It is an optimal solution for the FTTH services requiring very cost-effective PON ONU devices. Highly integrated V2524G provides all the necessary services for triple play at the home.

V2824 is a cost-effective single-board Fast Ethernet Layer 2 switch designed as ultra compact premise equipment with reliable Layer 2 features. It is a 1U height switch with 24 port 10/100Base-TX interfaces, RJ45 connectors, and two mounting slots for optional uplinks. It also has a non-blocking architecture and interfaces to provide wire speed and full-duplex packet traffic on all ports. For the uplink interface units, it supports 1000Base-X (SFP or GBIC), 1000Base-T, 100Base-FX, GE-PON, and G-PON of one port modular type. Each uplink module can be inserted into the two front slots.

V2824 can be used for various applications as not only Fast Ethernet Layer 2 switch but also E-PON/G-PON ONU. The PON system consists of Optical Line Termination (OLT), ONU (Optical Network Unit), and passive optical splitter. OLT, located at the central office, is connected to ONU through optical splitters. E-PON/G-PON uplink ports of V2824 provide voice, data and video services distributed over proper transmission media to maximum 24 Fast Ethernet subscribers in the customer premises.

V5924C-R supports VDSL2 service interfaces of high-tech DMT architecture which guarantees the bandwidth up to 100Mbps downstream and 100Mbps upstream.

V5924C-R integrates VDSL2 technology providing the bandwidth up to 100Mbps or long reach Ethernet. The voice bandwidth can still be separated from the data traffic using filters/splitters at customer premises and central office. It is an effective broadband VDSL2 solution of pizza-box type for the network environment of entry-level enterprise, mid-market and optional branch office networks to provide high-speed internet services.
