Chinese NG consumption is growing fast, showing big shortage and relying on import

As predicted by“Natural Gas‘12-5’ Program”, Chinese gas import dependency may exceed 35% by 2015, bringing new challenge to national energy security. It is therefore necessary to, in addition to optimizing the consumption structure, strive for increasing domestic effective supply.
