How college students spend their leisure time

In contemporary China, owing to the fantastic development of society, relentless and ruthless competition poses tremendous pressure on us Chinese college students. However, a great many students, both female and male, being reluctant to bury their head in piles of books, intend to seek more chances and opportunities of relaxation and entertainment. While all kinds of leisure activities appeal to them, the choices are limited by gender and personalities. The boys often spend their leisure time in suffering the Internet, playing games and doing sports. Nevertheless, most girls choose shopping and trips to spend their leisure time.

As a coin has two sides, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, different kinds of leisure activities can take their mind away from the books and allow them to enjoy the nature and life. On the other hand, these relaxations will contribute to making them work harder in study time. But to our regret, a part of college students don’t have enough self-control to stop when it’s time to study. And more and more students are addicted to playing and relaxing themselves.

We can’t deny that people in increasing numbers owe their achievements in life to the help and guidance of the shining ideas from various activities and nature. Accordingly, I cherish a belief that we

college students, as long as resisting the addiction, are able to benefit from different kinds of leisure activities.
