区分：What do/dose sb. look like? 问长相=How do/does sb. look?

What be sb. like? 问品质

What do/does sb. like?问喜好

思考：什么是系动词？ 有哪几个分类？

chat 作动词，chat with sb 和某人聊天， chat 作名词， have a chat with sb.

send 动词，意思是 。 sent, sent, sending, sends

send 还有 派遣，发射等意思。

常用短语 send back 送回，退回。 send for sb. 邀请某人，让某人来

6. receive 是 动词，意思是 。近义词是accept,get receive 指客观上的收到，接到。 accept 指主观上的接受。

她收到了他的邀请，但是她拒绝接受。

She his invitation, but she refused to it.

7. 文字处理 process 动词 处理。 名词，进程，步骤。

8. search for ,相当于 ， search for 的程度要更强。

search for 中的search 是 及物/ 不及物动词。

search 做及物动词的意思是：搜查。Search sb/sth for …搜查。。。寻到。。。

我到处寻找我的钥匙。 I everywhere for my keys.

search the thief for the wallet 的意思是

search for the thief 的意思是

9.What do you usually use your computer for ？

What ….for 是固定句型，意思是 做….为了什么（目的）。介词for 表示目的。此句相当于 What …to do? 此句可改写为What do you usually use your computer ？

根据语气也可用why 改写。 What did you do that for?=Why did you do that?

almost 是 词，意思是 修饰形容词或动词。almost 不能用not 修饰，但可放在 no, none, nothing 等前面。

他差一点误了火车。 He almost missed the train. 几乎没有人休息Almost no one had a rest.

almost / nearly

almost 和 nearly 都是差不多的意思。 在肯定句中可以互换。

He fell and almost / nearly broke his let.

在否定句中，两者用法区别很大。 almost any, almost no , almost no one / nothing …

nearly 在否定句位于not 之后。 She is nearly not 20 years old.

Almost nobody believe he is nearly 80 years old.

注意两句中gather 的词性。

see sb. doing sth.看见某人正在做某事

When I passed by the KFC, I saw many children eating hamburgers and chips in it.

see sb. do sth.看见某人做了某事（强调动作发生的全过程）

4) across / through big / large / huge

huge强调体型而不是重量，big指具体事物，多指体积大，还可以表示“巨大的，伟大的，重要的”等意思，其

反义词是little或small,large多指面积之大、人口之多，也可表示数量（the number）.
